The ‘Blue Rock Collection’ is inspired by the Breaking Bad television series, and features some of the most recognizable characters from the show. The artist’s vision was to showcase each character in a portrait, with elements of caricature. This style of portraiture goes back to the Early Italian Renaissance. Notable members of Italian society would commission an artist to paint their portrait. The portrait revealed a strong likeness of the sitter, but also contained exaggerated elements, with a simplified background.  

Each image from the Blue Rock Collection is an original mixed media painting. 

The artist intends to create additional versions of some of the paintings, and each one is unique.
